MW Communiversity

The Millstone Weber Communiversity (MWC) is a virtual community leadership and learning campus and will foster the advancement of DBE’s through: Workforce Development, Diversity, Leadership Development, STEM Program Immersion, Community Outreach, Supportive Services.

MW Communiversity provides:

  • Access to our Project PAVE STEM initiative, heavy highway construction, and construction-related careers and occupations.
  • Encourages community involvement of the North County leadership, stakeholders, and community advocates.
  • Promotes increased inclusion and visibility of a diverse workforce for the Project, North County, and region. The MWC will provide participants with workforce training, practical applications, and real-time exposure via lectures, webinars, seminars, workshops, field visits and hands-on experiences.
  • Fosters innovative DBE capacity building for growth and advancement. with a one-stop approach to training, technical assistance, and viable collaborations. DBEs contracted to I-270N will receive priority. (*MRCC certified DBEs are eligible to access the MWC.)
