2017

  • Environmental Assessment Completed and FONSI Acquired (Finding of No Significant Impact)

2018

  • Winter: Project Team Established and Public Involvement Begins for Next Phase (Elected Officials Briefing (EO), Community Advisory Group Meeting (CAG), Public Meetings Held)
  • Summer: Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission Approves Project for Design-Build

2019

  • Spring: Project Advertised to Contractors and Public Meetings Held (March: Project Advertised / April: Request for Qualifications released - CAG, EO, & Public Meetings held)
  • Summer: Project Goes Out to Contractors for Bidding (June: Request for Proposals released - Between 2-5 Design-Build teams shortlisted)
  • Fall: Design-Build Contract Awarded in November

Construction Schedule

2020

The following locations are scheduled to begin construction activities in 2020.

  • Pershall construction between New Florissant and Washington/Elizabeth
  • Old Halls Ferry Bridge and Interchange
  • Washington/Elizabeth Bridge and Interchange
  • US 67 (Lindbergh) Interchange construction begins (Duration of 2.5 years)
  • Bellefontaine Interchange
  • Southbound I-170 Widening
  • Pershall Bridge connection to Dunn over I-270 east of Old Halls Ferry

2021

The following locations are scheduled to begin or continue construction activities throughout 2021.

  • Coldwater Creek Bridges
  • West Florissant Bridge and Intersection
  • Outer Road Improvements begin
  • MO 367 Interchange construction begins
  • Pershall Bridge connection to Dunn over I-270 east of Old Halls Ferry
  • US 67 (Lindbergh) Interchange construction continues

2022

The following locations are scheduled to begin or continue construction activities throughout 2022.

  • Mainline I-270 Widening begins
  • I-270 Over New Halls Ferry EB Bridge
  • I-270 Over New Florissant EB Bridge
  • MO 367 Interchange construction continues
  • US 67 (Lindbergh) Interchange construction continues

2023

The following locations are scheduled to wrap up construction activities in 2023.

  • Mainline I-270 Widening continues
  • I-270 Over New Halls Ferry WB Bridge
  • I-270 Over New Florissant WB Bridge
  • Mainline I-270 Asphalt Overlay
  • MO 367 Interchange construction completed
  • US 67 (Lindbergh) Interchange construction completed
  • Project Completed December 2023
